  • radek.

We were yesterday in Prague. Really unbelievable concert, just few notes:

    1) it was so technically excellent that it looks almost artificial
    2) too many people in the audience were smoking (ciggaretes, hash or whatever), which was quite terrible
    3) almost nobody applauded to MODERAT (support) which was really a shame as they were cool

Those are only contras, otherwise, pros, pros and pros. THANX RADIOHEAD

  • Yuriy

    come to US pleeeeeeease!!!!!!!!!!

  • Clive

Everything In Its Right Place at the end. Again. How fucking dull. Mix it up live Radiohead, or else stop touring. One dull new song stuffed in there does not an exciting show make. Remember when this band used to give a shit? I do, & it was a shotload better than this….

  • pNtRs

people like clive makes me want to quit reading these blogs . . . wich is sad because i love reading people being happy about music . . .

how can someone really be disappointed about this or that about RH ? not that i am a crazy fan or so . . . but . . . how can someone really be disappointed about them . . . i have to agree that they can maybe make it more interesting sometimes [ like playing songs they never play . . . i would do that and surprise people all the time . . . ] but from there to really say something bad about them ? please . . . is radiohead . . . some people really criticize geniuses . . . geniuses should be admire . . . werever they bring to us . . . respect guys . . .

  • fannie

Hey Clive, You don’t have to be a Radiohead fan. They earn new fans daily and for fans such as me, only paying attention for a few years, the band is fresh and exciting and a live show is an event. They don’t own you a thing.

  • christine

Clive please enlighten us all, since u seem to be a reputable critic..who else can compare to the genius that is Radiohead in our generation? I’ve yet to attend a dull Radiohead show..and for that matter listen to a dull Radiohead song..with the exception of Creep. Now granted they can definitely mixed it up a bit more on the setlist but not for nothing their shows still rock…and I completely agree people like Clive ruin threads.

the funny thing is, they never claim to be geniuses or anything remotely arrogant. they just play what they feel like, and hope for the best it seems. that setlist looks amazing actually imo The Gloaming, Myxomatosis, Climbing Up The Walls back to back!!!
Karma Police, Bodysnatchers, Idioteque, These Are My Twisted Words , Pyramid Song back to back! Saw them at Bonnaroo in 2006 for the first time, and closing with EIIRP was epic and beautiful. it really has a electro jammy feel too it where they go into different grooves and manipulations. the perfect song really too close because the chaos pad with johnny and ed’s effects are never quite the same. look at it on youtube. the same progression, but never the same rythm at the end. amazing! plus, if it aint broke dont fix it. they just released an album a cpl years ago…how quick do you expect them to move along. in rainbows took four years. we might get eps for that long which equal up to an album. great set, and im glad that i am fortunate to like music this accessible without having to rely on mass media and MTV haha!!!

i wish they would bring back “sit down, stand up.”

it’s the one song i want to hear live before they really do hate playing with each other.
