since the tickets are paperless does this mean that the people who are selling tickets on ebay and craigslist are all scams?

Lets be real, it is not Radiohead. It is Thom, with his solo work The Eraser, and not everyone, even some Radiohead fans, are fond on it. Aside the most rabid fans some people will go out of curiosity to see what Thom does solo and with Flea – of all people. Not everyone has a grasp about his work and all the hipsters in the LA area are already set for Coachella. Even so the tour is basically sold out everywhere just one/two days since they went online. Add to that the paperless policy who scares scalpers away. New York took 10 minutes to sold out but if it wasn’t the paperless policy it would be more like 1 minute! It makes things easier for the fans and people who really want to see the shows, gives them time to buy it (although for Santa Barbara, for now, only remains the worst tickets, very far away the stage). And the shows aren’t “small” in anyway, Aragon will hold two sold out shows for 4500 people each day.

BTW, I am here thinking if they will have a new set up for the tour, something more sophisticated than those simple lights from the LA shows… I am beting they will surprise a lot of fans in this tour, have a feeling these guys will be a knock out.

does anybody know how to meet thom after the concert?
how do you know where he will be?

In terms of concerts 4,500 is actually pretty small considering the names attached. Sure, it won’t be as intimate as the LA sessions last year…but then again, as someone else said before me –these shows will most likely be better put together in terms of lighting, sound, stage set up etc

And Fake Plastic –unless you find a way backstage good luck with that ;)

The Echoplex in LA was the dream intimate concert. I don’t consider the new concerts that “small”. Yeah, Thom and Flea are there, but most people outside Radiohead fandom don’t have a clue about what is Thom’s solo work and WTF Flea is doing playing with him.

eh…maybe. I’ll be there with bells on though :)
