He’s 42 years old. what the fuck is he doing there?
I like the new club music, like postdubstep, but this is too much for me, it’s too pulpy. he should go home and stop profiling

  • Tchocky

I loved this! That was great music, like Cymbal Rush. I love Thom and his dance moves, so awesome that he would just show up there like that. :) )

    Now I wish I lived in LA……………………………

  • goomgirl

thom played that same modeselektor song at the afterparty i went to in santiago.

  • eezeepeezee

No complaints about the music but his hair is gross

  • colleen

    He is so fascinating.

  • Meeyuzik

what the hell is he doing……drugs? just stick to radiohead full time thom…keep the music rolling out with the band……

    RIDICULE !!!

You had two calls while you were away, a Mr. Pot, and a Mr. John Peel

  • Benovite

Let tell you something; L.A. has lost a lot of its cool over the years. Now it’s mostly a collection of dorks attempting to be cool and a very few actually cool people. Thom doing his DJ bit over here is a very welcome injection of coolness. The man and his group know their stuff. If you have an issue with him spinning, guess what: you’re a dork.

  • A….

    Mid-life crisis.

  • Matt

It was only cool because Thom was in it, had it been anyone else playing those same tunes I couldn’t have cared less

  • Bounce

Normal people get to be cool until they’re around 25. Extraordinary people, like Thom, stay cool their whole lives.

  • WillSmith

Hey uhh does anyone know what song that is near the end? That hip hop one or whatever you kids are calling it nowadays…

  • fakeplastic

midlife crisis, couldn’t agree more :) but i guess it’s okay..

  • Melty

    he didn mix!

  • Paulo

It’s been a month since the release. I see no branches. Not even a tiny leaf. ‘Let them wait, and when they least expect…’ So much hope.

@Bounce : you really get the point . you really do . i hope more people would understand this . not even in relation to thom dj’ing or not . your words [ when the most simplest ] apply to live in general and sadly that s what most people experience in life . unless they are more than 25 and really fucked up in drugs or werever . you can be cool and have more fun and keep fresh , till you die . not everyone try to do it . mostly no one . if you need something in written , just ask Krishnamurti .

  • PsychedelicRonin

you’re absolutely right… but still, i’ve got the feeling, thom has lost his integrity. I never was in low end theory, but read some good reviews about this club and i do like the idea of this club, but when I see all these yuppies there, filming the whole thing, hyping with their iphones… and on top of that: that arrogant flying lotus…

  • il signore peperulo

the music is what it counts . and the music is there .

thom has something with LA and we suppose to understand it is making him enjoying life a lot lately . it really shows . and we should be very happy of that . what would that be, with LA ? , i have to accept i would love to know . i really am very curious about it . but he keeps it private [ which is his style of course ] . but at the end , yuppies are everywhere , arrogant people [ i dont feel that about FL ] are everywhere , but good music and fun while dancing to a great DJ it is not everywhere , and that s the good thing . beside that, i am so happy of having yorke in LA closer to me [ us ? ] than far away in the great land of gray and rain . i guess inside of me i still feel that one daym, i will turn around the corner and he might be walking around enjoying something that USA has and it is a lot of open minded people . as other places as well , but i rather having him around [ specially when he realizes that MIAMI sucks but he can be happy here as well and move over ] .

fuck i know people will make fun of me because of what i just said .

I heard that people had been waiting hours before the place even opened… because the word got out that Thom was going to be doing a set.

  • Dennis

Oh joy, generic and repetitive electronic beats. Once again, something mediocre that is praised simply because it was done by Thom Yorke.

  • Max_beliniak

can’t believe he played MF Doom!!!

  • Darraghmolly

anyone know what the 2nd tune he plays after the burial just as he says evenign guys???? boppy

  • Kyosti
