Does
this really NEED interpretation? It's rather obvious what this is
about: the politicians who will say anything to get your support.
They gloss over the ugly realities of politics in America and England
and everywhere else, make promises to us that we all know they can't
keep, and 'trust they can rely on our vote.'

I agree with Jacob as far as the general meaning of the song goes,
but I think it's intersting to note that OK Computer was released
in 1997, the same year that Tony Blair won a landslide election in
the British Parliment. Most political analysts will tell you that
Blair is realy just a young, "cool", version of Margret Thatcher,
under the disguise of New Labour and the Third way. He is a pure product
of the spin doctor, adding even more vallidity to the meaning of the
