what a gig, radiohead were mesmerising. they hit the stage all smiles at around 9.10 and kicked off with airbag-2+2=5-the national anthem-morning bell. new songs included were all i need, big ideas, and bangers n' mash. radiohead appear to be in a very good place; they were absolutely shit-hot, they all looked like they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. during how to disappear...when thom sang the "float down the liffey.." line the crowd greeted it like ireland had just beaten england on penalties in the world cup final; totally bonkers. best gig ive ever been to, a really special night. the set was flawless, with pyramid song, idioteque, like spinning plates, just, climbing up the walls and lucky to name but a few. after finishing with creep, thom beamed and remarked "see you in the pub" cheers. hail to the chiefs !!!!!!!!

That was awesome.......I flew from Italy the day before to see them play Marlay Park, and it was well worth it! Started with "Airbag," ended with the famous "Creep"!
Thom's "I think this is one you'll all know" before "Karma Police" had us ecstatic!
Some of their new stuff was played, but I only caught the name of "Bangers and Mash"
Deadly concert!

It's fair to say that in Dublin Radiohead did not let us down. For a start they had the brilliant Beck support. Beck played a solid hour of classics and newies along with a genuinely funny puppet show more like Team America, without the racism.
I think Radiohead were a little late, but we got our full set. It would be fair to say that this was a show that pleased all types of Radiohead fans. We got Creep, My Iron Lung, Just, Airbag, Paranoid Android, Climbing Up The Walls, Lucky, Karma Police, E.I.I.R.P, T.N.A, H.T.C.D, Idioteque, Morning Bell, Pyramid Song, Like Spining Plates, 2+2=5, There There, The Gloaming. Newies: Nude, Videotape, All I need with Bangers N'Mash.
We got one tune more than V Festival and two more than Mainland Euorope. Having heard ten new tunes over the summer, I'm really looking forward to the finished version.
Nice crowd too.
9/10 (great shows, but Marlay Park is a bit of a trek).

It was an amazing show. The atmosphere was electric. It was such a buzz. the set list was incredible. The whole show was a highlight, I can't pick a flaw, apart from when How To Disappear Completely had to be restarted. I was a disappointed that Street Spirit and Fake Plastic Trees weren't played, but they made up for that by finishing with Creep. It was the best ever gig that I was at in my whole life. I hate to rub it in but I was at the front of the pit.
Amazing.
10/10

Amazing stuff, they didnt play street spirit or the bends as I was hoping, but it really didnt matter. Nice mix of old and new radiohead, and new tracks were great. Thom quiet as usual but his dance moves made up for it! Blew my mind, my first radiohead gig but definitely not my last.

Being the first time seeing Radiohead live I was not sure of what to expect even though I had no doubt that it would not disappoint. The songs sounded better then the album versions and the atmosphere was absolutely electric. JG managed to continue to run back and forward from his guitar and sampling equip throughout the entire gig while TY sounded somewhat god-like and treated us with Like Spinning Plates (I Might Be Wrong Version). The band played for two hours and gave us two encores! In the middle of the set they gave us a taste of some new material including Nude, Bangers n Mash and Videotape. In typical Radiohead fashion the songs sounded different from the previous, yet still had that distinguishable Radiohead undertone. The set finished with "Everything in its right place".

A top class performance by thom and co. From the moment they walked on to the moment they left i truely was in awe. Without a doubt the performance of the night was LUCKY, as the lights simmered down to the explosive chorus and the crowd acted as a choir, it was the best song performed by any band i have ever seen. And i feel so privilaged to of heard CREEP and the good spirit the band played it in. It truely was acceptional

Beautiful!! Just stood in a trance watching my favourite band play some truely emotional songs. They started off with Airbag and the place justed lifted!! Met a walrus who'd just recently had pedicure! Can't believe I'm the first person to review this gig!! Here's the tunes I can remember (not in any order due to beer and weed):
Airbag
Like Spinning Plates
Paranoid Android
How To Disappear Completely
Just
Ideoteque
Everything In Its Place
Lucky
National Anthem
Karma Police
Creep
The new tunes were amazing too, looking forward to hearing the new album!!
Thankyou Radiohead

Well, lets just say I thought ye were awesome. The design of the stage was visually beautiful, the sound was fantastic and the crowd were lovin it.I found the playlist for the night brill but ye didn't play No Surprises,The Bends or Street Spirit(Fade Out)which are great songs but none the less the concert was fantastic. I think ye are so talented both musically and artistically with your abilty to play a wide range of instruments.I never thought i'd see two guitarists play the drums and Thom playing one too! Ye guys are such an inspiration to me and thanks for putting on a great show.

Perfect performance.

a Fantastic gig, the energy was exploding off the stage into the crowd. all kid a songs were brought to life in a way i could only have imagined!idioteque was played to perfection. best gig of the year. one complaint:no street spirit. but we did have lucky, paranoid android, like spinning plates, bangers and mash, everything in its right place, national anthem, karma police, pyramid song, couple of new ones and the grandest finale, creep!im sure ive left out some but it doesnt matter, if you were there, you will never forget it. roll on the new album!

Well, apparantely no one else wants to review it, so here I be to save the day.
Great show, but I mean, they normally would be. Set list was great, but afterwards I wish they had played The Bends or FPT or No Surprises or Street Spirit, but oh well, can't fault radiohead now, can you?
Couldn't hear Sir Yorke much to be perfectly honest, the crowd sang so much (they even went 'do do dododo, do-do-do do do do at paranoid android and in Just, for the quiet part) , but the atmosphere was pretty intense. At times Yorke seemed annoyed by this really, but then again he said 'Congratulations , you've got the Gig' so I assume he thought it was fine really!!
Two encores, last one being Creep. He came out and went 'Alright, then' and started singing it, it was great. Best song definitely had to be Lucky though, absolutely incredible. Worst song was The Gloaming; Well performed, but pointless really, just an excuse for him to dance (although it's cool when he does that!)
All in All, fricking amazing!! Never been crushed so much before either haha.
P.S. Deerhoof and Beck were incredible. Thank you Radiohead for choosing them.

as always Radiohead were amazing.
'airbag' and '2+2=5' set the frenzy off early on with the 20,000 or so sell out crowd whipped up nicely, the mid set calm down spiced with 'there there','paranoid android' and 'pyramid song' allowed a breather for idioteque to start the end the set, slam in crowd pleasing faves like 'karma police' and 'creep' into the encores and you've got a great gig indeed.
as with a discography so large there'll always be ommissions, maybe more from 'the bends' album would of been nice - however radiohead are renowned for changing setlists on a nightly basis for both they're own sanity and the quality of the show, and i'll take quality over quantity anyday!
the weather was good, the crowd was happy the performance superb....hopefully see you next year guys....Ireland awaits your return.

I have seen radiohead live 13 times in many countries and was very pleased to see them again on my home turf in Dublin. As always the sound was great for a radiohead show and big respect is due to the band sound folks as they always deliver good sound..( radiohead in amsterdam earlier in the year being the best sound I have ever heard at a live gig)....this was outdoor in marley park and the setlist reflected the need to keep the sellout crowd entertained to the full....the only time radiohead seemed to loose them was for Big ideas which is more suited to a smaller indoor venue when played live...they opened with airbag and finished with creep with a great setlist inbetween....they seemed in good form and tru to form didnt do any bullshit talking to th crowd crap thats dished out at gigs these days...no we love you ireland statement here.....they got an extra cheer for the line 'float down the liffey' in how to disappear as thats the main river in dublin )..johnny did his best bit of fitting in with the irish by joingin in with a traditional irish music session in a pub the nite before the gig in smithfield !! and as i play the bodhran ( irish drum thingy) ad love irish music id have loved to been there...johnny we have 1000 kewl pubs in dublin so come back for more youd be most welcome.....great show again lads...great show

Fantastic gig! Starting with Airbag really set the place alight and from there on it was plain sailing for Radiohead. The setlist was great containing some old classics (Paranoid Android, Lucky, Just) to the more recent (2+2=5, National Anthem, There There) and everything in between. They played some new songs (Nude, Bangers + mash) which were in contrast very different but highly enjoyable. The lighting effects during Nude were great!! A blend of light brown and red lighting behind the band - sets the mood perfectly. As always the biggest cheer of the night was when "i float down the liffey" was sang during How to disappear completely. For some strange reason that song always goes down a treat in Ireland!
Rounding off my 3rd Radiohead experience was Creep which was a new experience but welcomed. It was there 2nd encore (something that is almost expected with Radiohead these days!!!).
With support from Beck on the night it was a fantastic evening in Marley Park.Eagerly looking forward to my 4th Radiohead outing. With gigs like this, i wish they played more often!!!!

What a great show. My first time seeing the band and they lived up to my expectations. The set list was well thought out and they played a good mix of Kid A, Ok computer, Hail to the thief and to a lesser extent, the bends. They opened with airbag and followed with 2+2=5 and the corwd reaction was great. Things got pretty rough crowd-wise during 'My Iron Lung' and 'Paranoid Andorid' but that was to be expected. Unbelievably some twat threw a bottle at Thom but failed to hit him, thankfully. The band seemed in good form and Thom especially seemed content through out which was an added bonus. They played two encores which was un expected and finished in 'Creep' which the crowd went mad for and was a pleasent surprise. Some minor technical diffulties seemed to plague Jhonny but they were sorted out. Great night, beck's show was hilarious also.

Although I much prefered the intimate surrounds of The Olympia three years ago, the setting in MArley Park was pleasent and the weather was surprisingly dry and we even had blue skies. Deerhoff kicked off just after 18:15 to a small crowd, with must people still travelling from work/home/pub. Deerhoof were very energetic even though I had no idea what the lead singer was on about. Beck arrived on stage approximately 1 hour later and threatened to steal the show. He and the band were fantastic. I was never a huge Beck fan, and even though some of the songs on the set list were not to my taste, Beck & Co. were fantastic live, including the hilarous Puppet show. Before Beck's encore, we were treated to a short film of the Beck Puppets arriving in Ireland and sampling some of the local traditions, before they entered the Radiohead backstage room and doing the whole Rock 'n' Roll thing and trashing the place. The sun set and just after ten past nine, Radiohead made their entrance and started straight into Airbag. There was little chat from Thom throughout the night but the music was Sublime. A number of hits from The Bends & OK Computer littered the setlist, and we were also treated to a couple of new songs which, gives me a great anticipation for the new album if they are anything to go by. How to disappear completely was greated with great applause, especially when Thom was "flowing down the Liffey" Encore came and the lads even came out again and played Creep, which went down a treat. Fantastic night, Fantastic Bands. Radiohead...Fantastic.

Just a class act. It truely was an amazing gig, for me 2+2=5 was song of the night. Also as thom and co. blasted out paranoid android the whole crowd acting as a harmonous choir i was left in awe. The good spirit they played the songs in was truely magnificent. There really can be no complaints made about it. All i hope is that it isn't long until they return back to the irish............

Playing the intimidating trilogy of 'Pyramid Song','How to disappear Completely' and 'All that I need' saved what was a pretty poor performance. The crowd patiently waited for the popular classics before humming them along in unison. Sporadic alcohol fuelled fights created a wholeheartedly negative atmosphere which the band detected with Thom throwing despairing glances at the crowd between songs. I'm Irish and I don't think I'll ever go to an outdoor Irish gig again. Perhaps Radiohead are no longer a big venue band or they just don't have the ability to entertain the socially inarticulate masses that are the Irish gig going public.

I flew especially from Chile to watch this gig in Dublin. Amazing. The best show i ever seen in my life.It was so good that everything seem to happen too fast, so i am still enjoying it, trying to catch every moment, every song. I am sure this is my first Radiohead gig and not the last one. I hope next time in Chile.

second time ive seen em,great setlist, the crowd near constantly singing did me head in a bit but at least people piped down during the slower piano led numbers,no doubting there the best band going right now,ive read a few reviews mentioning tunes they left out but i was very keen to hear some new stuff and have no complaints with what they played, delighted to hear my iron lung and morning bell, hope the next album aint far off as i was very impressed with videotape and bangers&mash,if they played dublin weekly id go see these lads, there so impressive live also the light show and stage setup were the business, got in 10minutes before airbag kicked the gig off so missed the support acts but heard people raving about beck, hope they get an album and tour going sometime next year,id be keen to go to a dublin date and maybe head off to see them on foreign shores, keep up the great work and thanks for an amazing night in dublin, all the best

This was without a doubt the best live concert ive ever been to, waiting for years to see radiohead and they lived up to all my expectations. Marlay park was beautiful and i thought Beck was fantastic aswell.
Everything about the gig was perfect, the weather was great, the sound was good, we wer 3 rows from the stage after abit of chancin, just to the right so we wer kinda between thom and johnny. They came on just after 9 when it was kinda twilightly, i nearly cried when i heard the openin chords of airbag. awh it was great! the high points of the set were 2+2=5, my iron lung (it got a bit rough up the front),paranoid android, climbin up the walls, idiotheque, just and creep. the new stuff was very good aswell, the new version of nude was cool. Videotape is an insatnt classic and i really enjoyed thoms drumin durin bangers and mash. They finished up with creep which was the perfect ending to a great gig. Cant wait for the new album and hope to see the lads again soon, thank u radiohead for one of the best evenings of my life!

This was my first time seeing radiohead live depsite being a fan for a long time. It was well worth the wait. They are the most accompilshed muscians i have ever seen live. I felt like i was having an out of bady experience for most of it to be honest. Every song was a highlight but it i was forced to choose 2+2=5 was sublime. Genius!

My god what a gig, everything was perfect, stage looked incredible, the weather was fantasic, beck was amazin and the sound was great.
It was probably the best gig ive ever been too, myself and my friend wer about 3 rows from the front and jus in between thom and jonnys positions which was great!
Thought the setlist was fantastic, kicking off with airbag and 2+2=5, and playing mostly kid A and ok computer tracks. The new tracks wer brilliant, videotape and nude sounded fantastic, aswell as thoms drumming on bangers and mash. They finished up with creep which upset a few diehards but was great for nostalgic purposes. Overall an amazing gig, just hope we get to see them again soon, hopefully in a more intimate venue next time but where ever i wont be complaining!

(oh, they didnt do arpeggi in dublin, it was videotape). all i need, videotape and nude, 3 of the best of the new songs and we got them, AMAZING! and i wish everyone would stop putting down bangers n mash, i think its fucking cool too, reminds me of electioneering or trans-atlantic drawl a bit, that kinda style.
