It's been a glorious day! It was the first time I saw them and it's been the greatest gig I have ever seen. The atmosphere was pretty quiet, but not apathetic. Everyone was participating and was carried away by the music and the gorgeous Thom's voice! On stage Thom turns into some demon (or some demon turns into him?), he turns into the stage king (awkward angels' king?) They have heightened everyone's attention for about two dreamy-hours, never being boring or repetitive. Well, they have been absolutely brilliant, they played excellently and not being afraid of to experiment new things.

Date - Monday 19th June 2000

Venue - Villa Realle, Milan - Stunning Backdrop and very warm. Open Air with Beer on sale. Perfect.

Crowd - Small! Where was everyone? Very informal and relaxed - comfortable which is not normally a word you would use to describe a gig. Intimate and captivated. Obvously just the way they like it.

Set - Captivating. Loads of new tracks which sound fantastic. 'Just' definatley Rocked Milan the most. Thankfully, no cheesy lighters being waved.

Thom - 'Rock' and 'Prego' were his only dialogue with the crowd. Very curtious but an absolute headcase Wierdness - What was that god awful 'War Time' music we had to endure whilst waiting for there arrival???

Support Band - Pretty Poor to be honest. Definatley did not go down well with the Itallians.

Final Comment - If you can - make every effort to see them wherever it may be along the tour - we travelled all the way from the UK to see them - Sound Sad?? Maybe - but we're still smiling. Ambition acheived.
