Thom eventually began, after much prompting from Jo Whiley. He introduced No Surprises by saying "I'm going to play this for Mr Rumsfeld, who has just announced today that they didn't have any weapons after all" before adding a venomously sarcastic "Sorry."

He then did a great version of the song on his own, and he seemed to be changing the speed of the song constantly.

Then he played Sail To The Moon on the piano, which merged into an energetic Everything In Its Right Place. The latter zipped along much more than on the record, and was all the better for it.

This was the first time I've heard Sail To The Moon, and it seemed a little dreary to me, although further listening is obviously required.
