it's a sad news, although they're breaking up with such class, undeniably.
can't imagine reading a similar news about RH in a future... I hope I won't. I hope they'll just last for ever : )

Well I just wasn't depressed enough apparently... D:


I remember being really upset when I thought Gorillaz were breaking up (turns out they weren't, it was just a rumor) and I'm sad now about the REM breakup but Radiohead parting ways would be too much.

I guess. He was at the Atoms For Peace show in New York last year. Before the show I saw Thom greet him with a hug on the balcony level.

Michael and Thom are still great friends. They really love each other. I'm sure the Rhead guys are sad about the break up too. I have been down since the breakup. R.E.M. are my favorite band. I've seen them 27 times. I didn't expect this to happen not so soon. I really thought they would have continued on at least a few more years. A final tour would have been a better way to say goodbye to us long time hardcore fans.

If it wasn't for Michael Stipe I wouldn't even know Radiohead. He talked about them in so many interviews in 1998. Michael mentioned how good OK Computer is. So that was the first album I bought. Now Radiohead are my Second Favorite band.
I'm gonna miss this band always.
