One of my favorites. Saw them on the Accelerate tour as well and am very thankful I did. A great band and quite a legacy. I wouldn't rule out a reunion, but it seems unlikely, but plenty of bands have changed their minds on the subject. Happy Birthday Mr. Stipe!

Johnny Marr was there? cool.
Yeah. He was in Modest Mouse at the time and they opened for R.E.M. on the Accelerate tour, so I think he joined them for "Man on the Moon" like every show. It was pretty awesome to witness.

Me too. Saw them on the "Work Tour" after Document was released as well. Both incredible shows - the Green tour show in Pullman, WA was my favorite concert experience ever.
