Stage presence is definately there now.
Nailed Myxomatosis in Houston.
And i'm not sure i've ever heard a better version of Nude.

TOTALLY agree.

Still very pissed they haven't announced when they are coming to see us yet though....
Can't begin to imagine how good it's gonna be though when they do finally make it home!

But we have FTB as a live document from this era.

not sure FTB, good as it was, quite documents what they're up to now. pretty much all the songs have evolved noticeably since then. along with some of the non-tkol songs they're playing.

i dunno if that's actually what they plan to do though.

Don't like Thom Yorke's ponytail? Fine. Watch him shake it off. Headbanging Magpie around 3:50 in the video. :rockout:
This is from the upper deck but zooms in nice for a look at the whole stage.

Dunno about everyone else but i'd getting excited about the progression of Magpie.
Great energy throughout.

i know what you mean about the pace,
i was a bit disappointed with his vocals in the first few tour dates,
but now he's sounding much better

It's not my favorite but I thought Louts Flower was literally ground shaking. As in, the floor, the seats, my lungs were vibrating when they played this and I loved it because it was like I was physically feeling the music. (Funny thing, there was a group of deaf people in front of me jamming the whole night and they loved this.) And I really like where they put it in the set, after Identikit, when everyone is either completely absorbed in trying to figure out this new song or else getting another beer, and then they play Lotus Flower which is the newest song that everyone knows, so, obvious crowd pleaser. Follow that with There There, which everyone knows and loves and expects, and then a crazy dance off with Feral and Idioteque, and it's really a great set of songs.

Tour Review

At one point Yorke addressed the crowd, de-bunking everyone’s hopes of an In Rainbows montage by simply asking us to “move on, with them, and appreciate the now.”

Backed up here

I would have had a load of complaints about the last tour. I saw them in Manchester, UK in 2008 and it sucked. The band themselves were great, but the crowd was horrible. Worst gig experience actually. People getting drunk and obnoxious and it just wasn't very fun at all. I was 16 at the time and took my Dad. He got headbutted in the face during fucking Arpeggi?!

Anyway, I came to uni and found out that my housemate was actually had the gig too and she had a pretty similar experience. We've been moaning for ages that we want to see them on this tour and see Caribou as well, but we don't want to see them in London or Manchester. We were holding out for a Bristol date or something.

We decided to boycott the UK all together and my housemate, myself and her brother all got tickets to see the 'Head in Strasbourg.

We assumed that most of Radiohead popularity here will be from the whole Britpop era. But France seem more into the whole Kid A / Amnesiac stuff and maybe be more likely to have an ounce of gig courtesy. That might be a massive and ignorant generalisation, but not from the last experience.

Here's hoping! Roll on October!

Yeah. I know. Seriously, worst crowd ever. I don't know what the experiences were from others at that gig. I know a few MTers were there. We had a little meet up beforehand, but can't remember who was there other than SamTones.

But yeah, after hearing similar horror stories, refuse to see Radiohead in this country again.

EDIT: I do remember there was also a "mosh pit" during Faust Arp to which Thom told everyone to "calm down" because they weren't the "Arctic Monkeys". That was pretty funny.
