WTF?????????????????????????
I dont understand the U2 comparisions and every GREAT thing RS says about them... they have great records but not like if they were almost gods of music or something like that... but well,, what can we expect from RS?

(even though, the interview from TKOL is great)

it's not necessarily news that a Rolling Stone journalist might think this. 'An eclectic and stellar panel of experts — including the Rolling Stone editors, Fats Domino, Flea and Britney Spears voted on the following albums in 2003.' looking at the top albums betrays the attitudes, bored and boring in '03 and not looking any sprightlier now.

These are very low placing for the first time. I would agree with this, there was other polls that had stated this too.

While i disagree. I still have no problems with RS thinking its the case. Because The Bends is simply that good. My personal favourite is Kid A, but The Bends is one of the best albums of the 90s period. Who cares what instruments were used on each album. Guitars, Keyboards, Trumpets, Saxaphones, Ambient, Whatever, Big deal. Great songs are great songs at their core.

Interesting, Rolling Stone made an updated list of the 500 greatest albums and they added Amnesiac at 320 and In Rainbows at 336. Also, Kid A made a huge leap from 428 to 67, so that's pretty cool. I believe OK Computer stayed in the same place. The new list is still pretty much crap though, but hey it's a good laugh and it is nice to see Radiohead get a lotta love.

Yea isn't that a pretty old list? Made way before they gave Kid A album of the decade a couple years ago. This certainly doesn't reflect their tastes now.
