i refer to it as jazzy
if i held this kind of attitude towards drums id fall out of love with drums

its grown on me over the night
smalltalk is a good place to start too
also most bandnames are dumb i think, radiohead is one of the worst i ever heard, but i try not to let that ruin the music for me

repetitious drums i dont really refer to as repetitious
i refer to it as jazzy
if i held this kind of attitude towards drums id fall out of love with drums
Well then I'd refer to you as ignorant, no offense. Repetitious does not equate to jazzy. Some of jazz's percussion is the most intuitive, non repetitive drumming you'll find out there. So to say it's jazzy is quite the overstatement
Especially this piece of music, it's great, but it's far from jazz

good song but reminds me how bland drummers are making their beats these days. just one beat all the way throughout, much like 80% of new music you'll find
Well this song is like a big groove isnt it? I never have that complaint about songs, I find it pretty weird how much people bring that up to be honest.

40 yrs ago the entire evolution of the drum kit hit a wall, as did all major music genres after no one could think of anything original past electronic music and drum loops etc
so ill agree with jesus insofar as that
still, there is good mucis still being made today in isolated regions of the planet that employ loops and repetition percussion
everything doesnt have to be so flashy
