Charles Mingus - Track A, Solo Dancer

Reminds me of Bloom when the snare comes in.

I was reading a Guardian review of TKOL today and saw a comment referring to Colin's bass playing on the album being like Mingus' on Black Saint and the Sinner Lady. The opener Track A, Solo Dancer with that snare drum really jumped out at me as I had just listened to Bloom a few minutes before. If anyone else hears a song that reminds them of TKOL post it here, as I would like to hear it.

the synths in this are ridiculously similar to the sound in lotus flower, i wonder if they sampled it
