I can't believe I didn't think to stay back after either of the Sydney concerts and missed out on meeting them!! I lined up for hours before the Tuesday gig & would have gladly lined up for an hour after the show for that if I had thought of it. Argh!!! Feeling distressed.

Sorry you felt like that. But if you were seated at the back of the venue I can understand why. I was seated half way back for the Monday show and felt disconnected from the gig. So I couldn't even judge the Monday night 'cause of this. It's a matter of location rather than Radiohead's performance. So after so much anticipation in seeing them then being so far removed from their show it makes sense you would be that way. I was lucky enought to score GA ticket for the following night and was only a few people back from the stage and can tell you they exceeded my expectations. Completely different experience to the first night, best live show I've ever seen and one of my favourite memories.

yeah i realised later it was because of my crappy seat. too far away, and the sound was really bad back there. i saw sigur ros in adelaide two days later and i don't even like them as much as radiohead but i enjoyed their show a lot more than radiohead's, because i was near the front.

Also, was anyone else depressed after seeing them and it was all over?

I built it up for months as the tickets were purchased what, in March or something, months before the actual concert, and although the night did meet all my expectations, I fell into a depressive stupor for a couple of weeks after seeing them. I guess it was due to it being so good that I know not much can live up to that experience, and the knowledge that I may not get to experience that magic again.

After the concert I felt so overwhelmed with what I had just experienced, I was walking around in a complete daze and felt a little dizzy! Just completely disorientated.. and  I hadn't had one single drink as i was there on my own and didnt have anyone to go to the bar for me and wasn't going to lose my spot!

I know what you mean re feeling depressed.. I felt the same as I had built it up so much since getting my ticket in March.. and then have it over.. and no hope in sight of seeing them again!

You can see them again...just take a somewhat longer flight.

i know i am a bit late, only just signed up haha

but their brisbane show was unreal. i was pretty damn close to the stage and it was so incredible. it all sounded so tight and the setlist rocked. was so disappointed to finally see them leave the stage though :(
