Nevermind, turns out the lyrics sheet is actually too big for my scanner ![]()
But from looking at it, OP is mostly right except for a few minor errors, I'll quote first then put the corrections underneath:
Ingenue
If I am not there physically
I am before you
If I'm not there now physically
I'm always before you
Just give me more
I hope and I pray
Mistake all you say
Just give me more time
I hope and pray
I mistake all you say
Dropped
went deep down wandering and stumbling
Went deep down wandering stumbling
Amok - There's a few errors, and I know Thom repeats a few of the lines here and there, but I can't be arsed to listen to the song and write them all down so I'm just gonna type it out straight from the lyrics sheet.
A penny for your thoughts my love
A swinging door
A penny for your thoughts
They try to jump me
A penny for your thoughts my love
They're spaghetti
They possess me
I'm trying to be a thought killer
They come back to bite me
A penny for your thoughts my love
They court disaster
I'm trying to be a thought killer
A penny for your thoughts my love
You'll forget me
I'm trying to be a thought killer
A penny for your thoughts
They distract me
A penny for your thoughts my love
I'm sending out choirs of angels
Tying round pieces of string
To run amok
Run amok
Run amok
To run amok
You got me
You got me back
To bite me
A penny for your thoughts
So yeah, aside from those tiny bits everything else is right. Those are the official lyrics. Yes, "They're spaghetti" is an OFFICIAL lyric.

But otherwise yeah it's all good. Just one word missing that's all. Everything else is right

It's cool that they release all the lyrics up front, we'd probably be guessing them for the next decade if not

Saw this on Facebook, let me know if you can't see it:

thanks for posting. I was wondering where warren's been in all this. usually he's the first to post a cover of any new yorke release. I just did as he instructed and tuned my G string down to an F, upstroking and pulling off (I think it sounds better than downstroking) to hear that open F between the frets he marked and it sounds about right. I'm also going along with thom's hand movements in the youtube video of him playing it live with nigel at oval, london, though it's hard to make out being that they were completely cloaked in darkness when he performed. after a few minutes of fiddling with it, I'm pretty sure this is how he plays it.
JJE seems to be in DADFAD tuning where the F's tuned down again. I wonder if thom just decided to stay in this tuning for the whole album.
now onto BYVE.
