Yeah Daydreaming has just gone a few levels up for me like 9 months after first listening.

Yeah it's deceptively different from anything Radiohead have done. Yeah they've done piano ballads but it's so ethereal and, well, dreamy. The strings are so wonderful too. I haven't listened to this album much coz I think I've subconsciously been scared to, but man, it really hit me today. All that stuff about the mastering seems pretty wrong too, I listened to it on these real nice headphones that I have for work and it sounded amazing. I think it might just edge out Amnesiac and be my third fave Radiohead album, behind Kid A and IR

Ha, they just used Daydreaming for a 6 Nations clip, bit different that.

Decks Dark has definitely grown on me too, I can just enjoy the groove of it now, was originally a bit hung up on it feeling a bit route one.

I still love Decks Dark but I wished they jammed on it a bit more live. Like, I love that Radiohead isn't a jam band but when you have a sweet outro like in that song and in Reckoner, it's cool to keep it going for, like, an extra minute when you're playing live

i like that it takes its time to do its thing. there's way more space in that song than in anything else they've done.

Spectre & Ill Wind are still such a delight to me

pretty much every song from the actual album is high quality and the thing as a whole is dense on a whole other level, makes it hard to listen to for me as a whole but almost anytime one of the 13 new tracks comes on i'm happy about it
