Also, some additional TKOL remixes have been released that weren’t included in the vinyl release. Colin writes:
Hello! Here are three remixes by Anstam, Nathan Fake and Jamie xx that sadly didn’t make it in time for the vinyl release – we wanted to get them out because we’re big fans and wanted you to hear them too. The tracks will be available to buy here on Monday.
Radiohead will celebrate the release of their remix album ‘TKOL RMX 1234567’ by streaming a live DJ set via The Boiler Room next Tuesday 11th October, from around 8pm UK time.
Thom will be DJing, along with Jamie XX, Caribou, Lone and Illum Sphere, who all feature on the album.
‘TKOL RMX 1234567′ is a CD compilation which collates all the 12” remixes that have been released throughout the summer. The album is released on October 10th and will be available from most music stores.
Thom Yorke was a special guest tonight on Gille Peterson’s show on BBC Radio 1. During the two hour show, Thom revealed some interesting info which we’ve summed up for you below:
Most importantly, Radiohead will be touring next year. “The idea is to go out and play next year on and off during the year.” They’re talking about bringing Clive Deamer (Portishead) along too. Nice.
Atoms for Peace, Thom’s side project, have recorded a new album and he’s “finishing it with Nigel at the moment.” He said that touring last year “sparked something off, it was really exciting… It had really good energy.” Thom was unsure of the release date.
Other tidbits include Thom listening to Blue Lines in the car with his kids, how RHCP’s Flea has gotten him listening to Duke Ellington, how he doesn’t have a favorite track from The King of Limbs but loves to play “Bloom” live, that he’s only been to Brazil once and had the time of his life there, and that he’s just finished reading Hans Fallada’s Alone in Berlin and loved it. “It’s an amazing book.” Also, Thom recalls the night he deejayed at Low End Theory last March: He hadn’t slept for three days and didn’t want to show up to Low End Theory. It wasn’t until Flying Lotus sent him a picture of line outside that he decided to come because he feared a riot would take place if he didn’t.

The sixth edition of remixes have been posted for us all to enjoy. The first one, labeled “Good Evening Mrs. Magpie,” was remixed by Modeselektor. The second track, “Bloom,” is by Objekt. You can listen to both below:
If you haven’t been able to watch the hour long From the Basement session yet, you’re in luck. The band has posted the full performance to YouTube for you to enjoy.
Produced by Nigel Godrich, the video session features Clive Deamer and additional musicians performing alongside Radiohead. From The Basement sees the band perform this year’s The King Of Limbs in its entirety, as well as new songs ’Staircase’ and ’The Daily Mail’, which were previously posted.
